Colorado Behavioral Health Funding Study Just Released !

NRI, along with partners WICHE and Millliman, completed a study for Colorado examining the funding for public behavioral health services  in the context of the impact of Medicaid expansion and the Affordable Care Act.

A key focus of the study is funding provided by the Colorado Office of Behavioral Health (OBH) for indigent (individuals without health insurance who are not eligible for Medicaid) individuals.  An in-depth examination of the clinical characteristics of the OBH indigent population is provided in an attempt to identify any unique or distinct needs in an effort to inform the allocation of state funds for this population.

Access the study on NRI's reports page here.
